The biomass used as the plant feeding is characterized by a <em>low or no dry matter content, or highly diluted wastewater.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With the anMBBR reactor, biomass with very high energy potential can be enhanced. Their shape ensures a high support surface for the proliferation of bacteria, allowing the creation of biofilm and enabling the digestion of the organic load by the bacteria in the effluent.
